Immerse & cool

IN AND AROUND ERL, THERE ARE NUMEROUS OPPORTUNITIES TO REFRESH YOURSELF IN SUMMER
In Erl Do we have a family-friendly outdoor swimming pool with a large sunbathing lawn, three pools (also for non-swimmers), a baby paddling pool, a playground, a beach volleyball court and table tennis tables. Beautifully nestled in the mountains of the Tyrolean lowlands, the outdoor pool offers the perfect opportunity to cool off in summer temperatures.
In addition, some are waiting mountain and natural lakes in the region for bath-loving guests:
The Hintersteiner See near Scheffau is located around 16 km from Erl at around 833 m above sea level. A crystal-clear mountain lake, which is considered the most beautiful and cleanest natural swimming lake in Tyrol, with a beach, beautiful sunbathing area, SUP rental and a kiosk. Hintersteiner See is located in the middle of the Wilder Kaiser nature reserve and offers the perfect refreshment on hot days.
It is around 20 km to Walchsee in Kaiserwinkel. It is considered one of the warmest lakes in Tyrol, reaches up to 24° and is located at the foot of the Kaiser Mountains. The Walchsee is a popular swimming lake that invites you to splash around, swim, SUP and water skiing. There is also a circular trail around the lake and an 800 m2 aqua fun park on the east bank.
Other beautiful lakes around 15 km away include Thiersee, who Hechtsee as well as the Stimmersee. They also invite you to relax with a sunbathing lawn, boat or pedal boat rental, a playground and a beach. Of course, the Achensee Not to be missed, which provides real refreshment with its cool water temperature, has countless attractions to offer and is considered the largest lake in Tyrol. At a distance of around 30 km, however, it takes a bit longer to get there from Erl.
By the way: In Erl, there is still the Blaue Quelle and the Erler waterfall. Although these are not swimming lakes, they are true places of energy that offer a wonderful natural experience that you should definitely not miss out on.
We hope you enjoy diving.
